Books have always played a prominent role in my life.
As a child, I adored reading and playing librarian. As a young adult, I preferred collecting unread books and occasionally sobbing over the newest Nicholas Sparks release. And in my late 20’s, I reignited my love and passion for reading and have been absorbing as many books as I possibly can ever since.
In early 2020, I created a book-focused Instagram account (better known to the book community as a #bookstagram) that I have been actively apart of for the past five years.
Being part of the book community opened more doors than I could have ever imagined.
I made personal connections with my favorite authors. I went from reading 15 books a year to over 100. I made and met friends from all over the county.
And over time, I knew that I craved even more from this community. I love books. I love readers. But just having a social presence and reading books for enjoyment didn’t quite feel like enough.
And that’s how the idea of Rolling Chapters came to be.
I’ve always loved the idea of being able to own and curate a retail space, so the fact that I’ve been able to make that a reality has been a dream come true.
